Killingest Movie Ever? [LJ Repost]
*part of a series of posts I am cross-posting. I'm finally within the MySpace timeline, which means these posts will be dated the actual date/time they were originally posted*
I'm trying to determine (after rereading my movie reviews) exactly which movie currently holds the title as the "killingest movie ever"! Now unlike some other sites who base their champion on the amount of people who "hypothectically" could have died (i.e. Star Wars because of Alderaan and the Death Star both blowing up and they were both probably populated with X amount of people) I want mine to be based in "on-screen" deaths, that means you have to see the sword, arrow, axe, what have you actually hit a person and/or see their dead body littering the ground (don't count anybody twice now, LOL!). I also want to make an added rule that in order for the movie to be crowned "the killingest" I want the dead to be human or at least humanoid (so Persians/Spartans in 300 count, technically stormtroopers count because even though they're cloned they're still cloned from a humanoid, orcs and goblins in Lord of the Rings DO NOT count). I was almost going to say don't count anyone CGI at all, but I figured that was getting too picky. OK there's the criteria, get counting!
